How we raise the money
These three events bring families and community partners together to support HHA. Each one has a different purpose and needs a different kind of volunteer.
BeeFit Color Run
Students collect pledges and run through color powder in the Patterson Park Annex. Every grade takes part. BeeFit raised more than $34,000 in 2025.

B3 — Bingo, Bidding & Bites
An adults-only night of bingo, a silent auction, food and drinks. B3 is one of the PTO's main fundraisers.

The HHA Open
Our first-ever charity golf tournament, presented by Carahsoft, is sold out — all 100 spots are filled. Thank you to every golfer and sponsor!

Fundraising becomes school support
BeeFit and B3 bring in most PTO income, alongside smaller fundraisers and donations. That support helps provide school supplies, student experiences, staff support, and events that bring families together.
Families and community partners make these opportunities possible for HHA students.
What the PTO funded last year
PTO support reaches beyond any one purchase. Here are some examples of what we helped make possible last school year.
School supplies
Supplies that help students and teachers start the year and keep learning going.
Teacher and staff support
Start-of-year support, wellness, and appreciation for the people who teach and care for HHA students.
Holiday Wishlist
Purchased classroom items included a science printer and prisms, reading and math games for multilingual learners, sensory tools, and PE balls.
Field trips and clubs
The PTO helped with field-trip costs and club requests, including support for a Drama Club trip to a musical.
Family events
Movie nights, dances, and celebrations that bring HHA families together.
Accessible meetings
The budget also covered meeting costs, including childcare, so more families can take part.

There's something happening most months
Fundraising is the visible part, but most of what the PTO does is give families reasons to be in the same room: morning coffee, movie nights, restaurant nights in the neighborhood, the Someone Special and Me dance, and the holiday social.
We also run teacher and staff appreciation, support new families, and keep the uniform swap going all year long.
